'definitely one to watch'
The Lawyer
Ben Higson has been immersed in mergers and acquisitions, and the intersecting sectors of energy, natural resources, infrastructure and diversified industrials, since he qualified as a lawyer.
Now highly-rated by Legal 500, which describes him as “excellent: commercially aware, pragmatic and strategic”, and described as a “corporate rising star” by Legal Business and “definitely one to watch” by The Lawyer, clients come to Ben for the depth and breadth of his experience and knowledge in domestic and international deals, across the full range of structures, including public and private deals, financial investor investments and exits, joint ventures and strategic alliances and complex commercial contracts. In addition, he has particular experience helping Japanese clients with their deals outside Japan.
Ben served as an elected member of the firm's global management board between 2014 and 2020; and, during the same period, he was also a member of our international Corporate & Finance leadership team. He is now the co-head of our UK M&A practice.
