We maintain a curriculum vitae and applications database for our recruitment purposes. This is operated by our recruitment teams in London, Germany, CE and Asia.  

We may add your application details and/or curriculum vitae to our database and approach you about suitable job opportunities in our various offices worldwide. In order to do this we will share your personal information with relevant personnel in those offices. You should be aware that this may mean transferring your personal information to locations outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), where legal protection for personal data may be less rigorous than in the EEA, but at all times we will endeavour to process your personal information in accordance with EU standards. Pre-employment Screening (UK Applications only)

Hogan Lovells carries out pre-employment screening. Pre-employment screening involves a number of checks to verify your identity, employment history and qualifications. The process of pre-employment screening is undertaken at the end of the recruitment process and forms a condition of the offer of employment. The pre-employment checks we will carry out before you join include*:

  • Academic qualifications and professional memberships (SRA for qualified lawyers)
  • Credit checks
  • Criminal record search
  • Sanction checks
  • Employment references to obtain current and previous employment history (this could also include education or travel)
  • Right to Work: to demonstrate legal right to work in the UK.
