VI International Investment Arbitration Conference

Maria Eugenia Ramirez was a featured panelist at the VI International Investment Arbitration Conference in La Paz, Bolivia, on September 28.

She sat on a panel titled "Arbitral Women," where she spoke about recent changes in international and investment arbitration concerning female attorneys and arbitrators. She also sat on a second panel titled "Reclamaciones Derivadas de la Violaciόn al Tratado de Inversiones; Reclamaciones Derivadas de la Violaciόn al Contrato," where she spoke about "investment agreement" clauses and their impact on umbrella clauses contained in investment treaties.

The conference was attended by more than 200 practitioners and was organized by the Instituto Peruano de Arbitraje and the Instituto Boliviano de Arbitraje y Conciliaciόn.
