Darcy Hansen has a multifaceted and versatile litigation practice. He has represented major financial institutions, film studios, and other multinational clients in a wide array of complex litigations before federal and state courts, and international arbitrations before arbitral tribunals.

Darcy brings relentless dedication and innovation to his work and has gained experience in all phases of litigation and arbitration, including developing legal strategies; drafting pleadings, substantive motions, and applications; conducting witness interviews; and managing large-scale discovery. Darcy has assisted clients in defending against allegations of fraud, price-fixing conspiracy in violation of antitrust laws, copyright infringement, and more.

Throughout his career, Darcy has remained committed to Hogan Lovells' pro bono practice and currently serves as the New York office's pro bono coordinator. Darcy's pro bono practice focuses on civil rights impact litigation, including challenges to indefinite solitary confinement of prisoners, voter suppression, and housing discrimination. Darcy has also contributed substantially to Hogan Lovells' work challenging the Trump administration's "travel ban" applied to certain majority-Muslim nations.

In law school, Darcy served as both Managing Editor and Symposium Editor to the Cornell Law International Law Journal and also served as an executive member in numerous affinity groups. Darcy also participated in Cornell Law School's Asylum and Convention Against Torture Appellate Clinic, representing a detained asylum seeker in an appeal before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
