Kate Morga counsels clients doing business with federal, state, and local governments on a broad range of issues that arise under government contracts, cooperative agreements, and research grants.

In addition to advising on regulatory compliance, Kate regularly assists clients facing government audits, investigations, and allegations of misconduct and fraud, and prosecutes and defends litigation involving contract disputes and bid protests. In the international space, Kate is a trusted advisor to colleges, universities, hospitals, and global operations receiving federal funding to operate in locations across the globe.

Kate regularly advises on cost accounting and administration of federal contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements; False Claims Act matters; suits alleging the misuse of federal funds; policy and procedure development; intellectual property and technology transfer; research compliance and misconduct; the OMB Uniform Guidance; and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Kate worked for a large government contractor in the areas of internal audit, financial and regulatory compliance, and accounting.
